Several Nickelodeon series from the past two-plus decades are heading to modern consoles, with help from THQ Nordic. The companies have partnered to bring back a number of games from the Nickelodeon catalog starting later this year, THQ Nordic announced. THQ Nordic hasn’t revealed which specific games it plans on remastering or re-releasing, instead naming the franchises that it plans to revive. On the list are some obvious choices — SpongeBob SquarePants, Fairly OddParents, Avatar: The Last Airbender — as well as a few surprising picks. Although fans of a certain age may remember cartoons like Back at the Barnyard and Catscratch, neither one is likely to inspire much nostalgia.
